Blade Angle Adjustment
50% of all wind turbines measured show significant misalignments of the rotor blades.
Using photometric measurement and automated picture processing the blades can be set within a tolerance of +/-0.1° according to the nominal values specified for optimum performance.
A global misalignment of 1° may cause a performance shortfall of up to 5%. Depending on the site and the size of the wind turbine, the cost for the measurements can be paid back within a few days of operation.
